Answers to the most common questions about ordering, shipping, and products at Zucchero Canada.
Ordering & Payment
What payment methods do you accept?
We accept all major credit cards (Visa, MasterCard, American Express, Discover), Apple Pay, Google Pay, Shop Pay, and PayPal. For qualifying business orders, we also offer financing through our Financing program.
Do you offer financing for equipment purchases?
Yes. For commercial equipment purchases, we partner with financing providers to help chocolatiers, bakeries, and pastry shops spread the cost of tempering machines, melters, and bean-to-bar equipment. Visit our Financing page for details.
Can I place a wholesale or bulk order?
Yes. We work with pastry schools, multi-location bakeries, hotels, and distributors. You can apply for a Wholesale Account for tailored pricing, or reach our team directly at sales@zuccherocanada.ca.
Shipping
How does shipping work?
We show you the exact live courier rate at checkout — no flat-rate markups and no surprises. Free shipping is available on molds, pastry tools, and accessories over $149 CAD. Ingredients (flour, chocolate, cocoa butter), machines, and bulk or oversized orders ship at live courier rates calculated by weight and destination. Enter your postal code in the cart to see the exact cost before you pay. All prices are in CAD. See our Shipping Policy for full details.
How fast will my order ship?
Orders placed before 5 PM MST ship the next business day. Need it sooner? Express orders placed before 1 PM MST can ship the same business day. Delivery typically takes 1-7 business days within Canada, depending on your location and the courier service you choose at checkout. Local pickup in Calgary is free. Tracking information is emailed once your order ships.
Is my order insured?
Yes. Every order includes up to $100 of shipping protection at no charge. For higher-value orders, you can add extended coverage at checkout — we recommend full coverage on fragile or high-value items such as machines and glassware.
Do you ship to the USA and internationally?
We ship across Canada and to the United States. U.S. orders ship with live, duty-paid (DDP) rates calculated at checkout — the price you see already includes duties and taxes, so there is nothing extra to pay on delivery. For destinations beyond North America, please contact us at sales@zuccherocanada.ca.
Can I track my order?
Yes. Once your order ships, you will receive a tracking number via email. You can also log into your account on our website to view order status and tracking information.
Returns & Refunds
What is your return policy?
We offer a 30-day return policy on most products. Items must be unopened and in their original packaging. Food products, ingredients, and opened items are generally non-returnable for food safety reasons. For full details, see our Return Policy.
What if my order arrives damaged or defective?
If your order arrives damaged or defective, contact us within 48 hours of delivery at sales@zuccherocanada.ca with photos of the damage. We will arrange a replacement or refund.
Are there restocking fees?
Returns on large equipment (tempering machines, melters, bean-to-bar machinery) may be subject to a restocking fee. All equipment returns must be approved in advance by our team.
Products
Are your products suitable for commercial use?
Yes. Zucchero Canada specializes in professional-grade products used by chocolatiers, bakeries, restaurants, hotels, and retail shops across Canada. Our brands include Pavoni Italia, Chocolate World, Martellato, FBM Boscolo, Mol D'Art, Foricher, Pomati, and more.
Do chef signature molds come with recipes?
Some chef signature molds come with QR codes or documentation linking to the chef's recipes and techniques. Check individual product pages for details.
What is the difference between silicone and polycarbonate molds?
Polycarbonate molds are used for chocolate work — they produce the glossy finish chocolatiers require. Silicone molds are used for frozen desserts, mousses, entremets, and baked goods — they offer flexibility and easy release. Most pastry chefs use both.
Do you offer samples before bulk purchase?
For commercial accounts interested in cacao beans, couverture chocolate, or specialty ingredients, contact us to discuss samples and evaluation quantities.
Wholesale & Business
Do you have a physical store location?
Zucchero Canada operates primarily online with shipping across Canada. For local pickups or in-person visits, contact us at sales@zuccherocanada.ca to arrange.
Do you offer business accounts?
Yes. We offer dedicated support for business customers including chocolatiers, bakeries, restaurants, hotels, bean-to-bar makers, and retail shops. Apply for a Wholesale Account to access tailored pricing and dedicated account management.
